DESCRIPTION:FREE ½ Day Suicide prevention Workshop\nBreak the Stigma Around Mental Health\, Suicide and Asking for Help\nWould you know how to tell if someone you love was thinking of suicide?\nIn Australia we lose 9 lives to suicide each day. Did you know that Aussies who live in the bush are up for 2x more likely to die by suicide compared to those in major Aussie cities? This can be due to a number of reasons\, including lacking services\, resources\, increased stressors\, and more. \nChantelle Jones (Hague) Owner of C. Jones Training – (daughter of Julie and Ross Hague) grew up in Tulli and is dedicated to ensuring her local community is suicide-aware and able to have intentional life-saving conversations to combat the struggles of life in the bush and give each other a fair go. \n\nJones Training is bringing these Free ½ day workshop to Tulli in December thanks to funds received from MPHN.\n\nCALM Care is a ½ day suicide awareness/prevention workshop that educates the community on how to respond to suicide risks in loved ones.
